The Maine Street Paraders playing recently at the Bull and Claw Restaurant in Wells, Maine. In the upper right, Pete Collins (of Duxbury MA) is on clarinet. In all others, John Battis (from Springvale) plays clarinet & sax. The tuba player is Tom Wilbur (Cape Elizabeth), Banjo/Guitar (and saw) Joel Eckhaus (Portland), Rick Knittel So. Portland) on Trombone and Craig Johnson (Kennebunk) on Cornet. Not shown in the top right were Peter Dunphy (So. Portland) (leader of the Bellamy Jazz Band) on Banjo & Guitar, and Bill Thurston (Cumberland) on Drums.

We've also been privileged to have Bob Pillsbury (Biddeford) on Clarinet and Eric Anderson (Cumberland) (of the Royal River Philharmonic Jazz Band) on Tuba on and Larry Kelts (Andover MA) on drums in previous shows. Larry played drums with Rick Knittel's "Cornell Ivy 5+1" when they both were at Cornell. Other guests have been Peter Lord (Limington)) on Soprano Sax and Lance MacLean (Brookside NH) on Banjo/Guitar Al Brogdan (Fitzwilliam NH). Lance has previously played with the "Hot Frogs" and is leader of the "Moose Mountain Jazz Band" in NH and Peter regularly plays with the "Bellamy Jazz Band".
